Social Media Is Going Crazy Over Fernando Mendoza Strip Club Photo The Night Before CFP Semifinal vs. Oregon [PHOTO]

Fernando Mendoza certainly doesn’t seem like the type of guy who would visit a strip club the night before a big game.

As a matter of fact, he doesn’t seem like the type to go to one at all.

Even so, a photo of a supposed Instagram post from the Indiana Hoosiers quarterback has gone viral ahead of Friday’s game. The snap in question, a screenshot from the QB’s IG Story, shows him talking up the wings at Magic City.

Magic City is hardly a fast food joint, yet they’re pretty famous for their wings.

Former NBA star Lou Williams infamously earned the name “Lemon Pepper Lou” after showing up in a photo there during the NBA’s time in the bubble. He claims he was only there to pick up food and left, but an exotic dancer sold him out.

The gentleman’s club came up on ESPN just recently, with analyst Booger McFarland revealing he made sizable donations there during the playoffs in college.

Mendoza, this season’s Heisman Trophy winner, is playing Oregon tonight. The programs are set to battle it out for a chance at a national championship.

As such, the post below from Barstool Oregon would have you believe that the Indiana QB was enjoying the sights (and the food) at the Atlanta strip joint last night.

Fans were all over the tweet shown above and had a wide range of responses.

“Mendoza seems like a guy you could legit believe went there just for the wings,” one admitted.

““Lemme get the lemon pepper duck wings, I hear they’re the best around!”” another joked.

“Religious boy seeing some tiddies and eating some wings lmao,” someone else laughed.

“Liking this kid more and more,” one user claimed.

“Yeah, if that’s real that doesn’t seem like an ideal meal to have the night before a game lol,” someone else wrote.

“Everyone in the city know they got some of the best wings! Folks get their food and dip lol,” one comment read.

Just this week, Mendoza revealed that he doesn’t even use Instagram.

“Not having social media [is important for me]. I only have LinkedIn and YouTube on my phone right now. It has really helped put things into perspective,” he told reporters.

This would have been more believable if it had been someone else, but it’s trending online nonetheless.
