Shocking New Report Reveals How Drake Maye Went Against His Coaches & Lied To His Teammates Before Game-Winning Play vs. Broncos

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye led the New England Patriots to a hard-fought 10-7 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Patriots went into a hostile environment at Mile High Stadium and secured a win that sent them back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019.

While his wife stole the show, Maye had a discreet game, going 10 of 21 for 86 yards. He used his legs to help his team win, posting 65 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries. The former North Carolina player sealed the deal for the Pats late in the fourth quarter.

New England needed to convert on third-and-5 to secure the game. Maye took the snap, faked the handoff and rolled back toward his left, where he met Broncos linebacker Jonah Elliss. He evaded the opponent and got the first down that sent his team to the biggest game of all.

As great as the play was, it came with a lot of risk. Patriots offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury revealed after the game that nobody on the field knew what Maye was gonna do when he received the snap.

“I hit my block, and all the defenders started running the other way,” Bradbury told the Boston Herald. “I’m like, ‘What? Oh my God.’ … After the game, Drake’s like, ‘I debated telling you guys if I was gonna (keep) it or not. But I just decided not to.’”

Details decided the game. The Broncos missed multiple field goal attempts and went for it on fourth down near the red zone in the second quarter, which could have given them three more points. Drake Maye paid attention to all the details and took advantage of them.
