Shocking New Footage Exposes The Embarrassing Turnout For CFP Semi-Final Between Miami & Ole Miss At State Farm Stadium [VIDEO]

Thursday’s thrilling College Football Playoff semi-final and Fiesta Bowl game at State Farm Stadium had a surprising amount of empty seats.

Miami Football Celebrates Winning the Fiesta Bowl

The Miami Hurricanes defeated the Ole Miss Rebels in a back-and-forth shootout to win the 2026 Fiesta Bowl. Miami quarterback Carson Beck scored a three-yard rushing touchdown in the waning seconds to win the game.

You would always expect a College Football Playoff game to fill up before kickoff. Especially when it’s a semi-final game between two historic football programs like the Hurricanes and Rebels.

Soon after kickoff, someone shared a video that showed plenty of empty seats at State Farm Stadium. Sections 422, 423 and 424 of State Farm Stadium (home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals) were practically vacant:

Surprisingly, there were also numerous empty seats at Hard Rock Stadium for the Orange Bowl between the Oregon Ducks and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

During the 2024 NCAA college football season, many thought that Beck would be one of the first quarterbacks taken in the 2025 NFL Draft. But Beck suffered a season-ending elbow injury and decided to continue his college career. He later announced his transfer from the University of Georgia to the University of Miami.

Beck clearly made the right decision. He proved that he could succeed outside of the Bulldogs’ system. Now, Beck has the Hurricanes one victory away from winning the national championship.

The Hurricanes got the job done in the Fiesta Bowl. Now, they await the winner of Oregon vs. Indiana (led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza) in the other semi-final contest. The championship game will be played on Jan. 19 at Miami’s home venue, Hard Rock Stadium.
