Police Report Released From Ugly Incident Involving “Brewers Karen” & Latino Dodgers Fan At Game 2 Of NLCS

Details of a report from the Milwaukee Police Department involving the “Brewers Karen” incident have been released.

After Game 2 of the NLCS at American Family Field on Tuesday, a video surfaced of “Brewers Karen” harassing and threatening a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. She called the Dodgers fan a “p*ssy”, threatened to call ICE and took a swipe at the man while he filmed the incident.

The Brewers fan was later identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk, an employee of ManpowerGroup Milwaukee and a board member at Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. She was fired from her job and resigned from the Make-A-Wish board.

The Dodgers fan, Ricardo Fosado, is a former U.S. war veteran who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was escorted out of the stadium shortly after the incident, and along with Kobylarczyk, received a ban from American Family Field.

Per TMZ Sports, the Brewers released a lengthy statement regarding the incident with Fosado and Brewers Karen. The statement notes that Milwaukee Police Department officers ejected Fosado for being disruptive and intoxicated:

“In this instance, the Milwaukee Police Department dealt with the individual who was ejected for actions apart from the events depicted in this video, including disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Separately, video shows that the other individual involved in the argument became physical in the course of her interactions with the person who was ejected.”

“For these reasons and in accordance with our Guest Code of Conduct specific to ejections and physical confrontations, both fans are being notified that they are not allowed to return to the ballpark for future events.”

Los Angeles defeated Milwaukee 5-1 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead back to the West Coast. With two more victories, they’ll become the first defending World Series champion to return to the Fall Classic since the 2009 Philadelphia Phillies.

Speaking to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after the incident, Ricardo Fosado said that there was initial “back and forth” chirping between him and Brewers fans in Game 2, adding,” it wasn’t disrespectful.”

Fosado also holds no ill will toward Brewers Karen, saying he didn’t think she should have lost her job and admitting he feels “bad for her.” Fosado also emphasized that he enjoyed his first Brewers game and wouldn’t let the incident ruin his experience.

Kobylarczyk has yet to publicly comment on the incident.

This matter transpired a month after the viral “Phillies Karen” incident, where a female Philadelphia fan berated a man for retrieving Harrison Bader’s home run ball. The man initially gave the ball to his son, but gave it to the woman to end the confrontation.

The family received prize packs, and a signed baseball bat from Bader, who met with the man’s son after the game.
