TheΒ Philadelphia EaglesΒ are reportedly in forΒ Myles Garrett, and what they are willing to give up has surfaced ahead of the trade deadline.

The Philly defense is still excellent, but it’s definitely not the same defense that helped them march to theΒ Super BowlΒ and shut down theΒ Kansas City ChiefsΒ without even blitzing.

Brandon Graham made a retirement U-turn following Za’Darius Smith’s abrupt exit, with the latter suddenly deciding to retire himself. General manager Howie Roseman has also addressed the team’s deficiencies in their secondary,Β acquiring cornerback Michael Carter via trade. However, he’s still thought to be keen on strengthening their pass rush.

Of course, there’s no one better than Myles Garrett in that department. And, according to multiple sources, the reigning Super Bowl champions are willing to part ways with a trio of first-round picks to lure theΒ Cleveland BrownsΒ into a trade.

Yahoo Sports reporter Charles Robinson was one of those sources and relayed having heard that the champs wereΒ β€œsuper hot” on Garrett.

ESPN Cleveland also discussed the rumor on Thursday.

As one would expect, the Eagles are not the only team interested in Garrett and, based on insider reports,Β could have some competition in the NFC.

Myles Garrett Wanted Out, But Changed His Mind

Myles Garrett recently made Browns history by completing five sacks in a single game, having broughtΒ DrakeΒ Maye down more times than his offensive line would have admitted had it not been broadcast on national TV. But it also marked the first time a player sacked a QB five times and still lost by several scores.

He made no secret of his frustration, slamming his helmet to the ground and brooding alone on the bench.

This is all in the wake of the player requesting a trade during the offseason, claiming he wanted to play for a contending team, or at least one that could compete.

He ended up signing a four-year, $160 million deal, which was the highest ever signed by a non-QB at the time, although the team hardly looked different.

It doesn’t appear that the Browns would be willing to let him walk, while the Eagles’ interest hasn’t been confirmed. With the trade deadline coming on Tuesday, the suspense won’t last very long.
