NBC’s Cris Collinsworth Is Facing Serious Accusations About His Integrity

NBC’s Cris Collinsworth went viral for several reasons on Sunday, a trend that has long been the case for the announcer.

Collinsworth has been calling ‘Sunday Night Football’ fixtures alongside Mike Tirico for some time now, yet he’s usually the one fans talk about during every broadcast, and things were no different when the Los Angeles Chargers played the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 9.

The former NFL star was the talk of social media after making a raunchy comment during the game, which likely had parents squirming next to their kids.

He also went viral for mentioning Patrick Mahomes, who was nowhere near the ‘SNF’ broadcast while Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert led his team to a 25-10 win.

Fans would point out that, despite the Chiefs not being in action, Collinsworth couldn’t help but mention Mahomes.

“How many times is Collinsworth going to bring up Patrick Mahomes tonight?” another asked.

“Here before Chris Collinsworth compares Justin Herbert to Patrick Mahomes,” someone else had predicted.

“Us: trying to enjoy #SNF Cris Collinsworth: “Mahomes is just DIFFERENT.”

“We deserve hazard pay for this. 💀,” one tweet read.

“Aaaand there it is. Collinsworth mentions Patrick Mahomes 😂,” a user wrote.

Collinsworth has made no secret of his admiration for Mahomes and the Chiefs. However, he’s also very fond of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, something fans have continually roasted him over.

“Honestly, I don’t care if anyone thinks I like Patrick Mahomes, because I do. I do like the guy. He’s been one of the most phenomenal players we’ve seen in the league for a long, long time,” he confessed during an interview with Kay Adams after the Super Bowl in February.

Given that Mahomes had just lost a would-be three-peat to the Philadelphia Eagles, Collinsworth was likely sorely disappointed.
