Michael Strahan is going viral for his incredibly classy gesture to a military veteran on Fox NFL Sunday.

Strahan appeared on a special edition of Fox’s pregame show to mark Veterans Day as the show was broadcast live from the Veterans Day Parade in Washington, DC.

During the broadcast, the former Giants’ great took a moment to honor a Veteran in the crowd.

Charissa Thompson was interviewing an army veteran named John Dinwiddle when he revealed that he is trying to get back to work after serving in the military.

Thompson would cut to Michael Strahan, who stated that he would give Dinwiddle a brand-new suit to help him in his job search.

“We want to make sure you go back to the workforce with a lot of confidence.”

The Army veteran was clearly a Dallas Cowboys fan, so Strahan took that opportunity to state, “Nothing would make me happier than to see you in one of my suits rather than that Cowboys jersey.”

This was a great move by Strahan after he caught major backlash for refusing to place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem last year.

Per Fox, the show has previously saluted troops from Naval Base San Diego (2024), the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado (2023), Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar (2022), the U.S. Naval Academy-Annapolis (2021), Marine Corps Air Station Miramar-San Diego (2020), U.S. Military Academy-West Point (2019), Fort Benning (2018 and 2014), Naval Station Norfolk (2017), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (2015), Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan (2009), and the USS Harry S. Truman in the Mediterranean Sea (2000).

As we all know, the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys are hated rivals.

The all-time record between the Giants and Cowboys is 78-47-2 in favor of the Cowboys, per Wikipedia.

Strahan certainly had many battles against him, and his teams had way more success overall while he was in the league. He was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year and won a Super Bowl during his time on the field.
