Mic’d Up Cameras Reveals Pissed Off Matthew Stafford’s Vulgar Message To Cooper Kupp During Postgame Handshakes [VIDEO]
Matthew Stafford had to get something off of his chest.
Matthew Stafford certainly gave it a puncher’s chance during Sunday’s NFC Championship game. The Seattle Seahawks simply could not stop him, but they did just enough to advance past his team.

The Rams lost to the Seahawks 31–27 in the NFC Championship to miss out on a chance to reach the Super Bowl. It would’ve been the second time Stafford made it there since the trade from Detroit in 2021.
Following the contest, Stafford wanted to get his hands on one person. Four years ago, Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford celebrated together as they advanced to the Super Bowl and then defeated the Bengals. In 2026, they were rivals on different teams. On Sunday, Kupp advanced to the Super Bowl once again while sharing the field with Stafford. However, he is a member of the Seahawks.
After the game, Stafford made sure to find Kupp on the field despite having bloody fingers. Once he found Kupp, a mic picked up the vulgar message he said to him.
Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp: “Quit making me f—ing look for you so long. Go win your damn Super Bowl, kid.”

Following the game, reporters began asking Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay if the QB had made a decision about retirement this offseason. McVay had a fiery response when asked about Stafford’s potential retirement. “Yeah, I mean, if he still wants to play, what the hell kind of question is that?”
Understandably, Stafford didn’t have an answer right after the loss. However, it sounds like he may be considering retirement over the next few months.
“I can’t generalize six months of my life 10 minutes after a loss,” Matthew Stafford said. “So I appreciate the guys in this locker room a whole hell of a lot. Everybody that helped me and helped our team be the success that we were this year. And that’s all I’ll answer for you.”
If Stafford chooses to retire, he would do so after one of his better seasons. He leads the league in odds to win the MVP award, per Yahoo. Stafford led in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns (46).
