Lane Kiffin Is Getting Blasted For His Actions At LSU’s Bowl Game [VIDEO]

Lane Kiffin can never seem to escape attention, even when he tries to just get out. The new LSU head coach landed back in the talks Saturday night during the Texas Bowl. The Tigers faced Houston, but the focus quickly shifted away from the field.

Kiffin already faced heat for leaving Ole Miss after its best season ever. Fans outside LSU still bring that up often. LSU fans did not care at first. They were just happy he was now their coach.

That mood changed quickly. During LSU’s 38-35 loss to Houston, videos appeared online showing Kiffin leaving the stadium before the game ended. Social media reacted instantly. Old complaints came back, and fresh jokes followed.

Lane Kiffin made a big appearance at the LSU bowl game. He showed up early, took photos on the field, and later joined ESPN for an in-game interview. During the broadcast, ESPN focused heavily on his future with LSU.

Not long after that interview, fans recorded a video of Kiffin leaving the stadium before the game ended. The clip spread quickly on X while the game was still going on. Fans called his name as he walked out. He responded, got into a black SUV, and drove away.

One fan posted the video and wrote, “Didn’t even watch his new team until the end of the game. Made sure everyone heard him on TV and then got in the car and left. LSU fans are going to take this so worse than Ole Miss, Tennessee, USC, Alabama, and the Raiders.”

Others chimed in. One fan defended Kiffin, saying, “Most LSU fans left that game early.”

Another joked, “There was a high school girls volleyball game he really wanted to get to.”

A third added, “Gotta go make some phone calls.”

Kiffin spoke about Ole Miss beating Tulane in a College Football Playoff game.“It was awesome, that was a great day, it really was. I’m not just saying that. The biggest game in the State of Mississippi,” he said. Also, he added that he had not watched much of it because NIL agents were calling him.

The timing remains unclear. No one confirmed if Kiffin watched the rest of the game elsewhere. The video only showed him leaving early.
