“Kindly f**k off”: Pat McAfee co-host accuses Roger Goodell and NFL of rigging after Browns’ win vs. Steelers

Roger Goodell and the NFL are under fire by at least one sports analyst following an entertaining weekend of football. Several teams entered Week 17 with hopes of keeping their playoff and divisional title chances alive for the season finale, but only one achieved the goal.

The Minnesota Vikings’ Christmas win over the Detroit Lions ended Detroit’s chances of advancing to the playoffs. The Houston Texans’ Saturday win over the LA Chargers on Sunday eliminated the Indianapolis Colts from playoff contention.

Meanwhile, despite the Baltimore Ravens’ 41-24 blowout of the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers only needed to beat the 3-12 Cleveland Browns to advance to the postseason.

However, Shedeur Sanders and Co. upset Pittsburgh 13-6 at Huntington Bank Field, adding drama to that Week 18 duel between Baltimore (8-8) and Pittsburgh (9-7). The game will bring a lot of emotions to fans, but not everybody was happy with the weekend’s developments.

Pat McAfee’s co-host, Anthony DiGuilio, also known as “Tone Digz,” claimed there was something shady behind the Browns’ win. He accused Goodell of rigging the game so the NFL can have a Steelers-Ravens winner-takes-all game on Sunday night.

“I got news for you @NFL. We’re all onto your script. Kindly f**k off, not watching that dumb game on Sunday Night next week for the AFC North,” Digz tweeted.

The Steelers entered the game on a three-game winning streak, beating strong opponents such as the Ravens, the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions. The Browns had won only three games this season, and the Steelers were clear favorites.

However, the Steelers had lost four of the last five games in Cleveland.

The NFL faced a big issue ahead of Week 18

After a highly entertaining 2024 season and a busy offseason, the NFL was confident fans would have a lot to look forward to ahead of the 2025 Week 18. However, the situation looks completely different. Besides the Pittsburgh Steelers taking on the Baltimore Ravens, the other big duel with playoff implications will feature the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers.

Other duels, such as the Detroit Lions vs. the Chicago Bears, the LA Chargers vs. the Denver Broncos, the Washington Commanders vs. the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts vs. the Houston Texans, were expected to carry more importance.

However, after an entertaining season, the excitement and anxiety will have to wait until the playoff begins.
