Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase Was Caught Telling The Most Blatant Lie To Reporters After His Ugly Fight With Jalen Ramsey [VIDEO]

Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase responded to Jalen Ramsey’s accusation that he spat on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ cornerback before his ejection.

Jalen Ramsey was ejected during Sunday’s game against the Bengals for punching Ja’Marr Chase in the fourth quarter. Speaking to reporters after the game, Ramsey claimed that Chase spat on him.

Here’s a video of the incident:

Chase denied doing such a thing in his post-game press conference with reporters, per The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr.

“I never opened my mouth to that guy,” Chase said. “I didn’t spit on nobody.”

As we all know by now, that was a blatant lie, and Chase DID in fact spit on Ramsey.

Ja’Marr Chase had a quiet day for the Bengals, catching only three passes for 30 yards. The Bengals lost 34-12 to their heated rivals and are now 4-7 on the season, likely to miss the playoffs for a third straight year.

The Bengals’ offense has struggled mightily since Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Though Burrow returned to practice this week, it remains to be seen when he’ll return to action.
