“I’ve Lost All Respect” – Furious MLB Fans Think Game 3 Of The World Series Is “Fixed” Following A Horrific Game-Changing Call By The Umpire [VIDEO]

Furious MLB fans think Game 3 of the World Series was “rigged” for the Los Angeles Dodgers following a horrific call by home plate umpire Mark Wegner in the top half of the second inning.

In one of the wildest World Series plays you’ll ever see, the Dodgers managed to pick off Bo Bichette in the top half of the second inning while Tyler Glasnow was pitching to Daulton Varsho.

Up 3-1 on the count, Varsho thought he drew a walk on a high pitch from Glasnow and started walking to first base. Believing it was ball four, Bichette started moving to second base. The only issue? Mark Wegner called the pitch a generous strike, and Bichette was picked off:

Varsho would draw a walk, and Alejandro Kirk hit a single to advance the former to third base. However, Glasnow retired the next two batters and had at least one run saved thanks to Wegner’s horrific call.

Wegner’s call was so horrific that it didn’t take long for unhappy MLB fans to accuse him of “rigging” tonight’s game for the defending World Series champions.

“I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings im not sure which. I won’t be silent,” a user said.

“umps also on dodgers payroll,” one fan commented.

“Mark Wegner having an all-time stinker slanted entirely towards the Dodgers and I’m supposed to believe this whole series isn’t rigged?” said another.

“@MLB looks like this home plate umpire is a @Dodgers fan. #sickening #rigged #worldseries,” a fan said.

“Nice to see the fix for the Dodgers is in full effect. ABS could have fixed that blown call, but alas. This is what MLB wants. And that’s what they get,” wrote another.

“rigged for the dodgers,” a fan commented.

Fortunately for the Blue Jays, Dodgers haters and fans who are just fed up with inconsistent umping in general, we will finally get the long-awaited ABS Challenge System next season. Each team will get two challenges under the new rule.

Still, it’s unbelievable how an MLB umpire could make a call that horrible at such a pivotal time in the World Series, of all moments.
