Shedeur Sanders suffered a finger injury during Cleveland’s second-quarter drive that culminated in a field goal. A close-up camera angle shows a bloody pinky on his throwing hand:

Sanders briefly had to exit the game and get checked out in the locker room.

The 23-year-old Sanders had the pinky wrapped up and returned to the game minutes later. Backup Dillon Gabriel took one snap behind center and took a two-yard sack on the play.
