Actor Mark Wahlberg’s daughter, Grace, was hospitalized recently after a horseback riding accident.

The 15-year-old is an avid rider, and her Instagram page is filled with photos of her on horseback.

She took to the platform this week to post photos from a competition in Thermal, California, that took place over the past weekend.  Sadly, however, the first photo shows her in a hospital bed, with her left arm in a sling.

“No pressure we will be back,” she wrote in the post, shown below.

The other images in the slide show her walking in her equestrian uniform and on horseback during the Desert Horse Park competition.

The post drew comments from friends and family members, including one from her father displaying praying and crying emojis.

Her mother, Durham, who has been married to Mark for 16 years, commented, “No doubt kid.”

Durham shared pics on her own IG page, revealing her daughter placed in events on three different horses.

“Sometimes I just look up, smile and say, ‘I know that was you,” she wrote. “Thank you.”

“Things could always be worse,” she added. “Remember that one.”

The actor later disclosed that the teenager was fine and recovering.

“Grace is doing well and recuperating, she will be back to riding soon,” he told the New York Post. “My family and I appreciate everyone’s well wishes.”

Wahlberg and Durham, a former model, got married in August 2009. They have four kids together: 22-year-old daughter Ella, son Michael, 19, son Brendan, 17 and Grace.

They purchased a $37 million property in South Florida last month.

The actor has joked that his kids’ interest in his job has waned as they’ve gotten older.

He has also confessed that his youngest daughter’s choice to become an equestrian worries him, though he supports it fully.

“She’s doing things that my other kids are kind of now starting to think, ‘Well, we’ve got to start doing something because she’s got it all figured out, what she wants to do and how she wants to do it,’” he told People in 2023.
