Everyone Is Going Wild Over President Trump’s EPIC Surprise Move for Team USA Hockey Champs [VIDEO]

Donald Trump has extended quite the gesture.

Donald Trump offered the U.S. men’s hockey team some special treatment in the wake of their triumph at the Winter Olympics.

The team landed in Miami on Monday afternoon following their gold medal win over Canada on Sunday. They were forced to make a stop in South Florida due to a massive blizzard in the Northeast. So, of course, the celebrations kicked off in Florida.

Captain Auston Matthews was spotted stepping off the plane at Miami International Airport with his gold medal around his neck. He was followed by several others, with onlookers treating them to an effusive welcome.

The original plan was to land in New York City on Monday, but the blizzard saw to an alteration. The team instead headed to E11EVEN for an open bar celebration.

Following the win, Trump invited Team USA to the White House and his State of the Union Address in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. He has since arranged to have them flown out, sending a U.S. Air Force 757 to pick them up.

“Men’s USA Hockey Team just BOARDED a MILITARY plane in Miami — specifically sent by President Trump — so they can be flown to DC for the State of the Union,” Florida reporter Eric Daugherty reported. “It’s a US Air Force 757 plane. Trump is giving them the ULTIMATE VIP treatment!”

“Represent your country well and your country will show up for you. Some of our other athletes should take note!” someone wrote in the comments.

“Women missed out  –  BIG mistake, YUGE!  Safe travels men,” another claimed.

“That’s how you honor gold medal patriots! Champions deserve a champion’s welcome. See you at the SOTU!” said a third.

Meanwhile, Trump is under fire for joking about having to invite the women’s team to the White House and State of the Union address.

The President spoke to the victorious men’s team after Sunday’s game. FBI director Kash Patel facilitated a FaceTime call from the POTUS in the locker room.

Trump said he had no choice but to invite the women and might even be impeached if he didn’t.

The women ultimately decided not to accept his offer.
