Dylan Raiola Called Out For ‘D**chebag’ Behavior After Announcing Transfer Portal Decision
Nebraska fans aren’t happy with Dylan Raiola.
Former Nebraska Cornhuskers quarterback Dylan Raiola has sent shockwaves through the college football scene.
Once again, Raiola is on the move. And, while it’s not a surprise to see someone who changed high schools multiple times do the same in college, the fans didn’t appreciate how he handled things.
Raiola announced his next move with a post on Instagram. He made a decision to transfer to Oregon.
Notably, he didn’t even mention his days at Nebraska. With that in mind, several fans called him out on the post for not even thanking his former program:
“Regardless of how it ended at UNL – the expectation is to leave with grace. Patiently waiting for a note thanking the state of Nebraska. The silence speaks volumes,” one fan wrote in the post.
“Wish you the best, but no goodbye post to NE is crazy especially for what they’ve done for you and your family…even bringing on your sister as GA for recruiting, who had no previous ties to NE and played for TCU,” another one added.
Unsurprisingly, the backlash didn’t stop on Instagram. Multiple people also flooded X to call him out for his behavior:
“Is it ok to say now that Dylan Raiola is kind of a dork,” one fan wrote.

“Dylan Raiola to Oregon is the most perfectly matched douchebag sandwich you’ll ever see,” another one added.
“Scratch Oregon off the list of 2026 football CFP title contenders. Signing flake QB Dylan Raiola is a mistake. Don’t want a goofball running your offense,” another one said.
Dante Moore Wasn’t A Factor In Dylan Raiola’s Transfer Portal Decision

Raiola’s decision to transfer to Oregon is somewhat surprising. While we saw quarterbacks like Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel do so to salvage their college careers, there’s still plenty of uncertainty there. Dante Moore is still undecided, and he could return to college.
Then again, Chris Hummer of CBS Sports reports that Raiola’s decision didn’t have anything to do with Moore’s plans.
“Sources view it as possible Dylan Raiola could (end) up at Oregon even if Dante Moore passes on the draft & returns to school,” Hummer reported. “In that scenario, Raiola would sit behind Moore for a year & be in line to be the Ducks’ starting QB in 2027.”
Of course, choosing to sit behind a quarterback who’s barely older than him and doesn’t have more experience is an odd decision, to say the least.
Then again, Raiola has two years left of college eligibility remaining. And after throwing for 4,819 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 17 picks in 22 starts in Nebraska, perhaps he believes that this will be the best way to rebrand and build his draft stock back up.
