Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had an eventful Sunday at Northwest Stadium, and it may lead to punishment from the league.

In the first quarter of the game against the Washington Commanders, the Lions’ wide receiver scored a touchdown and performed President Donald Trump’s signature dance in celebration.

Brown was asked about the Trump dance and whether it was “premeditated” before he pulled it off for millions to see.

“I heard Trump was going to be at the game,” Brown explained. “I don’t know how many times the president is going to be at the game, so just decided to, you know, have some fun and do his dance.”

Not too long after that score, Washington Commanders star defensive tackle Daron Payne suddenly punched him right in his facemask, which led to him being ejected from the game.

On Monday, the NFL suspended Payne for one game after he was seen swinging his fist and connecting with St. Brown.

Amidst that issue, Commanders defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw also received a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct during the fracas, as footage showed him pushing a referee.

Daron Payne has been suspended for one game for punching Amon-Ra St. Brown, and now he is showing the world that he did not haul off and do that out of nowhere.

Days after the contest, Payne took to social media and posted damning footage that shows the Lions wideout striking him first.

The video starts with Payne shoving St. Brown away from him, then Brown shoving him back before he throws a punch that connects to Payne’s facemask.

What makes the situation even crazier is that a ref is right there attempting to break them up, yet doesn’t throw a penalty or toss St. Brown from the contest.

The Detroit Lions bounced back from their loss to the Minnesota Vikings with an impressive 44‑22 win over the Washington Commanders

Amon‑Ra St. Brown was also a key contributor, hauling in five receptions for 58 yards and scoring the Lions’ second touchdown.
