Dan Hurley’s Mom Is Going Viral After Getting Caught In 4K Screaming Vulgar 3-Word Message During UConn’s Thrilling Upset vs. Duke [VIDEO]

Her reaction summed up the moment.

All Dan Hurley’s teams do is win when the calendar changes to March.

UConn looked down and out in an Elite Eight matchup against Duke on Sunday. It was billed as the biggest matchup yet of the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately, it was a dud as the Blue Devils had as much as a 19-point lead throughout the contest.

However, the Huskies rallied from a 19-point first-half deficit to stun the Blue Devils, 73-72, in the East regional final. The wild second-half rally was capped by a late Duke turnover and a 3-pointer to beat the buzzer.

UConn chipped away at a 44-29 halftime deficit to get within one in the final minute. But Duke appeared to remain in control. They had a 74-72 lead and an inbounds play under its own basket in the final 10 seconds. All they had to do was inbound the ball and wait to be fouled by the Huskies.

However, pressure can get to anybody, which is why Dan Hurley had his team pressure them.

The Huskies’ basketball teams punched their tickets to the Final Four over the weekend. They earned a miracle Elite Eight win over Duke. UConn overcame a 19-point deficit to stun top overall seed Duke in the Elite Eight, thanks to a deep 3-pointer from Braylon Mullins in the final second.

Footage of her in the stands has now been released. When the ball was released and went down, her reaction told the story. She raised her hands in the air, with her mouth wide open as she jumped up and down.

Then, Dan Hurley’s mom summed up the moment with one phrase: “Holy f–king sh-t,” she said. She eventually found someone to hug as others cheered around her.

On the heels of a historic comeback win over Duke, Hurley is humbled to already hear his name being mentioned among the greatest coaches in the history of the sport.

Speaking to ESPN’s Mike Greenberg on Monday’s episode of Get Up, he called it “flattering” to be talked about in such esteemed company. However, his focus right now is on seeing if the Huskies can win their third national title since the 2022-23 season.
