The Dallas Cowboys absolutely had to defeat the Arizona Cardinals, who were coming in with a long losing streak and looking like a squad that was ready for the offseason to begin.

As we saw, they looked like a competent team against the Cowboys, as most teams tend to do when facing their defense.

Losing a game is one thing, but being screwed out of a chance to get back into it is another.

In the fourth quarter of the game against the Cardinals, the Cowboys had a critical fumble by running back Javonte Williams after a short reception, which was forced by Cody Simon and recovered by the Cardinals.

A hot microphone caught a Cardinals player roasting him right after it happened.

Williams rushed 15 times for 83 yards on the night, but he will be remembered for that moment when the team was trying to march down the field to give themselves a chance.

However, social media has found a moment where he should be exonerated. The Cardinals player who recovered the fumble from the Dallas Cowboys star seemed to have stepped out of bounds and was the first one to touch it upon his reentry.

Dallas Cowboys Complete Trade After Loss

The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to trade linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline at 4 p.m. The Bengals announced they received a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft in exchange for Wilson.

The move came after Jerry Jones confirmed that the trade was in the works. He likely thought there would be more excitement following Monday Night Football, but the team lost that game.

A defensive captain for the Bengals, Wilson had requested a trade after his snap count had recently decreased. He now moves from one terrible defense to another.

Wilson’s 11 interceptions over the past 5 1/2 seasons led all NFL middle linebackers. The Dallas Cowboys certainly couldn’t get any worse.

Not everybody was a fan of the pending trade. Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman said, “He may want to cancel that trade.”
