The Lions certainly liked their chances of going 5-1 ahead of the Arrowhead Stadium clash, given how poorly the Chiefs had played up to that point.

Arnold, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with injury, thought it would be in his team’s best interest to taunt Patrick Mahomes, posting a photoshopped image of Dan Campbell standing behind a laughing Mahomes in a remix of the viral Undertaker meme.

The meme, which went viral after WWE’s AJ Styles prematurely celebrated a win during a match against The Dead Man, is still popular on social media and is used to depict a joyous person who is oblivious to the pain they’re about to experience.


It turns out that Arnold was wrong. Mahomes fired the Chiefs to a 30-17 win on Sunday, handing the Lions their second loss of the season. The quarterback would also take a shot at the Lions while speaking to reporters, speaking on the fight that took place after the game.

Brittany joined her husband in going off on Detroit, posting Arnold’s meme to her Instagram story, no explanation needed.


She also added several other bits from the Sunday night outing.

Taylor Swift, with whom she often hung out in previous seasons, was also at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the game and support her fiancé, Travis Kelce. But it appears she has a new BFF in Caitlin Clark, who was spotted in a suite having a chat with Taylor and Kelce’s father, Ed, during the contest.

The two were said to have fallen out over political ideology late last year, given the Mahomes’s support for Donald Trump, while Taylor endorsed Kamala Harris.

Clark, a huge Chiefs fan, appears to have replaced Mahomes.
