Bad Bunny is headlining the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. That news had the entire USA losing its collective mind.

The first male Latin American artist to headline the halftime show, Bad Bunny, is expected to sing and rap primarily in Spanish. That is a problem for a ton of people.

The Puerto Rican superstar has felt the full brunt of conservatives since he has taken issues with the President and his immigration policies, most notably ICE deporting illegal immigrants.

Notable Donald Trump supporter Brett Favre is now next up to give his unfiltered take. On the latest episode of the “4th & Favre” podcast, the former Green Bay Packers star suggested that the star singer doesn’t love the United States and that the league should choose someone who loves this country for the Super Bowl halftime show.

Instead of Bunny, Favre thinks country music singer Jason Aldean should be an option for Super Bowl 60.

“I’d pick someone who … maybe Jason Aldean, or, you know, someone who loves this country and that everyone could relate to,” Favre said, via Fox News Digital.

“I think Jason Aldean right now is as big a patriot and has a great voice. But I like George Strait – that’s old school. There’s a lot of choices out there.”

The backlash of Bad Bunny being chosen as the Super Bowl halftime show is never-ending.

Because of his selection, some NFL fans pushed to “boycott” the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show. A major petition was launched to replace him. “Replace bad bunny in the Super Bowl halftime show” has over 15,700 signatures as of this writing.

Conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, founded by the late activist Charlie Kirk, even announced a counterprogram halftime show that will be held during next year’s official Super Bowl LX halftime show.

Their show will be called The All-American Halftime Show.

In response to the hate surrounding his upcoming performance, Bad Bunny joked on Saturday Night Live that viewers have “four months to learn Spanish” to understand what he plans on doing.
