Lamar Jackson is trying to improve so he can return to the field, but in the meantime, he has to deal with social media’s accusations about him.

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback left a game against the Kansas City Chiefs, one in which fans accused him of faking an injury, and hasn’t played ever since.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported at the time that his injury wasn’t quite as severe as people feared it was. Well, several weeks have passed, and the Ravens are now 1-5 and sitting in last place in the AFC North.

In the meantime, Jackson has been forced to defend himself.

A post of him getting some late-night food has gone viral, and the caption and his behavior seem to suggest that he may have been high.

While posting the 38-second video, the post on X wrote, “Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson has gone viral for looking extremely high while buying street food past midnight. We have never seen an NFL player this fried.”

Jackson saw the post and promptly fired back:

“Bra y’all gotta stop engaging with these people 🤣 they like to lie when their views are low, that’s why I unfollow these weirdos.”

After a shocking 1-5 start to the season, the Ravens need to turn on the jets if they want to make the playoffs in 2025.

Coming off their bye week, their mission starts with getting their leader back on the field. The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Chicago Bears in Week 8.

Lamar Jackson, who missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury, just might be back on the field.

The Ravens held a practice on Monday after the bye week, but ESPN’s Jamison Hensley reported that Jackson did not participate.

Hensley further added that Ravens head coach “(John) Harbaugh declined to talk specifically about Jackson when asked whether he expected his Pro Bowl quarterback to practice this week.”
