Brian Daboll is finished.

The Giants fired Daboll on Monday in the aftermath of their fourth loss this season, which featured a blown double-digit lead and resulted in their star rookie quarterback getting hurt again.

Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will serve as interim head coach, according to NFL Network.

Daboll’s four-year tenure began with great promise as the team started 7-2 and later won its first playoff game since Super Bowl 46, which earned him top honors among his peers.

It went all downhill from there. He has recorded an 11-33 record since the start of 2023 and a 5-22 record since the start of 2024. Daboll’s overall record now stands at 20-40-1.

As for the current season, Brian Daboll has led the team to a 2-8 record after the team set a franchise record with an 11th straight road loss.

That comes a year after the Giants set a franchise record with a 10-game losing streak in 2024.

On Sunday, Daboll was asked after the game why his team can’t finish games.

“I mean, there were a number of things today,” Daboll said. “There were all three phases, just didn’t get the job done.”

2025 has been marked by injuries to the likes of wide receiver Malik Nabers, who is out for the season, and Cam Skattebo, who also suffered a leg injury to end his rookie campaign.
