Rashid Shaheed is going from last place and a laughing stock of a team to a viable Super Bowl contender that is currently in first place.

At the end of last month, there were major trade rumors that had Shaheed heading to the Denver Broncos.

Well, they missed out big time.

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2025 NFL season, and they continued that on an off day when Seattle acquired more help for quarterback Sam Darnold in the form of Shaheed.

The Seahawks are acquiring New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed for a fourth- and fifth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

So far in 2025, Shaheed has hauled in 44 receptions for 499 yards and two touchdowns, making him one of the top wide receivers in the league.

He is currently tied for 18th in catches and ranks 24th in the league in yards.

The 27-year-old will now join a dangerous wide receiver room that has Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and rookie Tory Horton, giving quarterback Sam Darnold another target to work with in the offense.

Helping Shaheed along the way will be him reuniting with offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who was on the Saints team previously.

With elite route running, sure hands, and blazing speed, Shaheed most certainly makes the Seahawks one of the more dangerous teams in the league.
