Mike Evans’ night might be done.

During Monday Night Football, the Tampa Bay Bucs were taking on the Detroit Lions and were down double-digits early.

Down 14-0 in the second quarter, Baker Mayfield went deep to Evans, who appeared to make an incredible catch. However, he would soon flip over, and the ball would come out.

Mike Evans was breathing, but he certainly was not moving. He appeared to be knocked unconscious.

After a few minutes, medical personnel were able to get him on his feet and walk him over to the sidelines so he could go to the blue medical tent.

Evans had not registered a catch in the game before his exit.

Unfortunately, Evans would soon be carted off the field. It was later reported that he would be out for the remainder of the contest.

During the 2024 season, Mike Evans missed quite a few games after suffering a hamstring injury.

The Bucs are 5-1, hoping to improve their lead in the NFC North.

Evans has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in 11 consecutive seasons.

“I was hoping we’d get a stop, because I can’t pass up history,” Evans said last year.
