Bombshell Discovery About The Bullet That Killed Charlie Kirk Revealed In Court – It Could Completely Flip The Case & Set Tyler Robinson Free
Tyler Robinson could be walking the streets as a free man.
In September 2025, Authorities announced they had arrested Tyler Robinson in the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Robinson agreed to turn himself in at the advice of his father and faces a possible death penalty.
At the time, Robinson was charged with aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, capital/first-degree felony conduct, and felony discharge of a firearm – causing serious bodily harm. The charging document stated Robinson “intentionally” targeted Kirk because of Robinson’s “belief or perception regarding Charlie Kirk’s political expression.”
In addition to aggravated murder, prosecutors charged him with two charges of obstruction of justice after concealing or removing “the firearm used to shoot Charlie Kirk,” and after he allegedly “destroyed, concealed, or removed the clothing he wore during the shooting.”
Before he was arrested, a 71-year-old man ran up to the police and shouted, “I shot him, now shoot me.” He was detained on the spot. They quickly found out that he had nothing to do with it.
Tyler Robinson was able to get away on foot, in part, because of that arrest. Now, he might be able to get away yet again.
The Bullet That Hit Charlie Kirk Did Not Match Tyler Robinson’s Weapon

In a shocking update in the trial of Tyler Robinson, the defense attorneys claim that the bullet in Robinson’s rifle did not match the one found in Charlie Kirk’s body. The Daily Mail reported that Robinson’s attorneys claimed that “the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr Robinson.”
The FBI used Robinson’s confession to the killing in a Discord group chat to press charges against him. He also confessed to the killing during his first court appearance in Provo, Utah.

However, his role as the suspect has long been questioned. The Daily Mail added that the ATF report was unable to trace down the bullet found in Charlie Kirk’s body during his autopsy to the rifle used by Robinson.
Per the report, Tyler Robinson’s attorneys now plan to use the testimony of the ATF firearm analyst as evidence. They will argue that Robinson was not behind the shooting on September 10, 2025. Robinson’s legal team has asked Judge Tony Graf in Utah to delay a preliminary hearing scheduled for May. They need more time to prepare and analyze the evidence they have received.
