Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 57, went on a shopping spree at the discount retailer to prepare for her daughter Portia’s 18th birthday bash.

On Monday, Kyle’s other daughter, Sophia, 26, shared a TikTok video of the duo scouring the shelves at a local Dollar Tree, where they purchased decor for the at-home celebration.

They then ventured to Michaels Arts & Crafts Store for the rest of their haul, snagging crayons, candles, and balloons.

At one point, Kyle even complained about the “unreasonable” cost of pens at the craft store after noticing some cost $50.

Sophia also shared clips from the festivities, which included a quiet dinner with family and friends, playing games, and Portia getting a tattoo at Kyle’s $8 million Los Angeles mansion.

At the end, the group sang Happy Birthday to Portia as she blew out the birthday candles on her cake.

The whole family appeared to be present for the party, including Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, 55.

Fans were surprised to see Kyle shopping at the low-budget retailers, given she often brags about her extensive Birkin bag collection.

“Ma’am, you are not relatable when we see you carrying purses that cost 6 figures, then whine about art markers costing $35,” one person commented on Reddit.

“I wonder if Kyle uses coupons?” another wrote.

“What a hypocrite! Kyle can buy whatever she wants just because it’s the dollar store?!” said a third.

“Kyle’s a regular person who gets mad over $30 markers but can spend $60K on a purse,” reacted a fourth.

Kyle previously gushed over one particular Birkin she owns that cost $90,000, and that’s far from the only one in her collection.

In a June 2025 interview, Kyle swore that she owns 18 of the designer bags after her latest trip to Paris.

It’s clear that the TV personality isn’t hurting for money, especially after nearly purchasing a luxurious $6.9 million Beverly Hills mansion next door to her rival, Lisa Vanderpump, in May 2025.

She’s also expected to score a large chunk of Mauricio’s $57 billion real estate empire when their divorce is finalized, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed.

The pair split over two years ago but have yet to officially terminate their marriage, despite each dating other people since the separation.

Bravo fans suspect the reason is that they’re protecting their assets between Mauricio’s empire and Kyle’s millions of dollars from her Hollywood projects.

In addition to starring in RHOBH for 15 seasons beginning in 2010, Kyle is an accomplished actress with credits in the original Halloween film, Little House on the Prairie, ER, and, most recently, The Lincoln Lawyer.
