EXCLUSIVE: DWTS Star Hilaria Baldwin Finally REVEALS How Alec Helped Her Survive The ‘FAKE NEGATIVE NOISE’ That Almost Broke Her – A Candid Look Inside Their STRONG Bond
Following her sudden elimination from Dancing with the Stars, Hilaria Baldwin opened up to The Express US about her journey on the show – including details about how her husband, Alec, supported her throughout the experience.
Speaking exclusively to The Express, Hilaria was asked about the ways in which her husband Alec has helped her.
“[Alec] just being supportive and my whole family just being supportive and saying, ‘we’re going to move cross country,’ ‘we’re going to figure it out so this can happen’ is a part of it,” Hilaria shared.

“But I think also because the nature of the business right now is there is a lot of fake negative noise out there, and [Alec] has been through that. And so when he’s just that supporter of being like ‘don’t listen to it. forward. that’s it.’… that helps me alot,” she confessed.
During week four of the hit TV dance competition, Hilaria and pro partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated from the competition after failing to recieve enough fan votes to mark them safe.
Hilaria was filled with emotion and even cried during an exit interview just moments after she got booted. She said, “This has been an incredible experience. I’m so grateful to all of you. And I’m grateful to my children and my family.”
“We’re okay,” she told E! News in the joint interview with Gleb. “I mean, we’re not great, but we’re okay at the same time. It’s mixed.”
As tears welled in her eyes, she added, “The first night we got here to LA … I said to my daughter, because I’m so open with my kids, ‘What happens if I get voted off right away?’ She said, ‘Mommy, at least you tried.’ And I hope they always know that: At least I tried.”
Gleb also encouraged her, saying, “You tried your best, I’m so proud of you,” he told her. “And I’m so grateful for an opportunity to be able to dance with you, because I felt like I was transformed back to my competition times. I’ve never danced a samba that level ever on Dancing With the Stars or on tour.”
Just moments later, Alec took to Instagram to share his thoughts. “I want to say I love you, Hilaria, and I’m proud of you. It’s been wonderful for the family to be able to support you as you support us every day. This has been such a large part of your life, and this is a dream come true for you,” he stressed.
He offered more words of encouragement for his wife, saying, “So congratulations and never stop dancing. Never stop dancing, Hilaria. I love you so.” The caption read, “We love you.”
