CARRIE Ann Inaba will not be appearing on Dancing With the Stars for the big premiere tonight, the beloved judge announced just hours before the show’s start time.

Carrie Ann began: “I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather.

“I’m resting up and can’t wait to be back next week in good health.

“In the meantime, I wish all the contestants the very best of luck.

“I’ll be cheating you on from home. Have a great show everyone!”

The DWTS season 34 premiere kicks off on Tuesday at 8 pm ET, and will feature judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

It is unclear if a guest will fill in last minute for Carrie Ann, who has been a judge on the show since 2005.

Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro are also expected to fill their roles as co-hosts.

The new celebrity casts of DWTS was announced on September 3 on Good Morning America.

Contestants including Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, podcaster Alix Earle, The Traitors star Dylan Efron, Australian reality star Robert Irwin, and Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria will take the stage on premiere night.

Carrie Ann’s friends and fans flooded her comments with well wishes after her sad announcement.

“Hope you feel better Carrie Ann!” pro dancer Britt Stewart said.

“Sending healing energy!” GMA host and DWTS alum Ginger Zee wrote.

“Get better soon sis!” Julianne chimed in.

After 20 years on the show, some fans speculated that Carrie Ann would step down from her role or take a season off.

A source told The U.S. Sun last year that she could be replaced with a fresh face in the near future.

“Carrie Ann will always be part of the DWTS family but as with any family, dynamics shift and things change,” the source said.

“She is very much beloved on set but she doesn’t have her place quite like she used to. She doesn’t fit in as well as she once did,” a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

“That’s not to say she’s doing a bad job necessarily but again, she just doesn’t fit in with the show or crew like she once did.

“It’s led to many awkward moments on set, some captured by the cameras.

“It’s only a matter time before the show pulls the trigger and brings in someone who the audience is excited about.”
