“And They Wonder Why Ratings Are Down” ESPN Host Gets ROASTED After Embarrassing Shedeur Sanders Gaffe During Druski Interview On Live TV

ESPN’s Monica McNutt had quite the blunder on Friday’s episode of “First Take”, believing that Druski (pictured above in blue) was wearing a Shedeur Sanders jersey.

As every football fan knows, the Cleveland Browns’ jersey colors are orange, brown and white. There are no blue color schemes whatsoever. Druski’s jersey is, obviously, that of Detroit Lions legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.

Druski appeared as a special guest alongside McNutt and Stephen A. Smith on yesterday’s episode of “First Take.” During the introduction, McNutt commented on Druski’s jersey, stating that it tied “into Shedeur Sanders.”

Smith and Druski had to correct McNutt awkwardly, telling her it was Barry Sanders’ jersey.

At least McNutt’s mistake wasn’t as humiliating as ESPN’s 2025 NBA Draft blunder, when they introduced No. 1, pick Cooper Flagg but instead put the cameras on Dylan Harper.

The 23-year-old Sanders has been one of the top early preseason storylines, following an excellent debut that saw him throw two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers last week.

Unfortunately, Shedeur Sanders is missing today’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to an oblique injury he suffered in practice.

Joe Flacco Or Kenny Pickett Will Likely Start Over Shedeur Sanders

As much as fans want to see the rookie behind center come Week 1, all signs point to Joe Flacco or Kenny Pickett getting the nod for the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.

At family dinner, my mother-in-law suddenly screamed that her $10,000 was missing. Before I could react, my sister-in-law pointed straight at me. “It was her! I saw her sneaking into Mom’s room!” she shouted. In an instant, my MIL grabbed a baseball bat and ordered me to confess. “I didn’t take—” I tried to explain, but the bat was already swinging—aimed directly at me and my 4-year-old daughter. Instinct kicked in; I wrapped my arms around her as my MIL roared, “Where’s my money?!” At that exact moment, the front door slammed open—my husband had just walked in.

When the door swung open, I thought I had simply come home a little early. But then everything collapsed around me: my mother lay on the floor, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth… and the phone beside her showed only one final message—my father on a yacht, hand in hand with a woman I had never seen before. In that moment, I understood that the secrets in my family were far darker than anything I had ever imagined.

In front of 52 family members, my mom held up her glass, gestured to my sister, and said proudly, “This is the daughter who’s always been there for us. The other one? She’s never done anything.” I stayed silent. No one knew that I was the daughter who’d been paying their mortgage and bills for nearly a decade. So I simply smiled, set my drink down, and walked out of the reunion. The next morning, my phone screen lit up—38 missed calls waiting for me.

The Burtons’ annual family reunion was always loud, chaotic, and soaked in cheap champagne, but…
