Ana Navarro took a sly dig at Donald Trump as she revealed what she is most thankful for this year.

On Wednesday, November 28, The View hosts caused quite a frenzy after they gathered for a Thanksgiving special. Despite Chef Michael Symon being the guest of the day, most fans had their attention focused on the 53-year-old host once she took a political spin on a traditional holiday question.

During the second Hot Topics segment of the day, Joy Behar offered the hosts start on a lighter note than usual, suggesting, “My family, every year, we go around and we say what we’re thankful for. You can take it as seriously or as lightly as you want. It’s a good tone-setter.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin started off by remarking, “I’m thankful for all of you ladies and the ability to share our viewpoints on television.”

Despite the 36-year-old host’s attempt to keep things positive, Ana immediately shifted the mood with her response.

“Damn, I’m thankful I haven’t been deported yet,” the television personality admitted, taking a jab at the Trump administration and their deportation policies.

The Nicaraguan native has never been one to hold her tongue about her views on the U.S. president, previously sending stern warnings to the businessman and “chilling messages” to the other members of his cabinet.

She even protested against Trump this past June. While the president was celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States Army, she joined the No Kings organization to speak out against the president and his immigration raids.

Her persistent criticism of the administration has caught their attention, prompting a response.

While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, a spokesperson for President Trump said, “Just when you think Ana Navarro can’t get any dumber, she proves you wrong.”

They continued, “Democrat party approval is at record lows because, instead of accepting that their party is wrong and out of touch with Americans of all backgrounds, they have surrogates like Ana attacking anyone who dares disagree with her. Keep it up, Ana!”

Navarro isn’t the only Hollywood star to be outspoken about her disapproval for Trump’s mass deportation policies. Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen have also spoken out.

The View airs every weekday on ABC at 11 a.m. EST.
