STAR cornerback Marshon Lattimore has been dropped by the Washington Commanders.
The four-time NFL Pro Bowler will be without a team as free agency begins next week.

On Monday, the Commanders told Lattimore that he will be released, per ESPN.
His exit will take place heading into the new league year next week.
That will be at 4:00pm ET on Wednesday, March 11.
By releasing Lattimore, the Commanders will save $18.5m in cap space.

Lattimore joined the Commanders midway through the 2024 season.
However, he played just five games in that campaign due to a hamstring injury.
Lattimore did appear in all three of Washington’s postseason games.
Then, this season, Lattimore played nine games but tore the ACL in his left knee in Week 9.
The New Orleans Saints received three 2025 draft picks (third, fourth and sixth) in exchange for Lattimore and a fifth-round pick.
Lattimore earned four Pro Bowl nods during his seven-plus-year tenure with the Saints.
His injury history began in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the former in which he suffered a lacerated kidney and two broken ribs.
Lattimore has banked around $104 million in his career to date.
