MICHAEL Strahan welcomed a new Good Morning America co-host on Wednesday.
The NFL legend was joined by an ESPN icon on the hit morning show on ABC.

Michael Strahan is regularly joined by co-hosts George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts on GMA.
But on Wednesday, live TV viewers were stunned to see the legendary broadcaster Joe Buck at the desk alongside Strahan and Roberts.
The 64-year-old Roberts introduced Buck to the program as she shared that the NFL broadcaster is filling in for Stephanopoulos, who is on vacation
Buck will guest-host Wednesday through Friday.
“It’s good to be here,” Bucks said.
Strahan then gave surprise presents to Buck.
But he first made sure to mention that the gifts will help Buck, who isn’t used to the early 7:00 am ET start of the show due to his Monday Night Football duties.
“It’s a little early for you. Football games are usually late so we got you something, man,” Strahan said.
The New York Giants legend then pulled out a mug and an alarm clock.
Strahan said that Buck can now wake up and drink his coffee to prepare for the show, thanks to his gifts.
Buck and Roberts then laughed at Strahan’s thoughtful presents.
The veteran broadcaster Buck then gave kudos to the GMA cast for working the early mornings each weekday.
“I don’t know how you do this every day,” Buck said.
“Tip of the cap.”

GMA’s decision to give Buck a chance to co-host makes sense due to the fact that the 56-year-old is employed with ESPN, which works with ABC and is also under Disney.

Buck joined ESPN in 2022 after a long career with Fox Sports.
Michael Strahan’s NFL career
Michael Strahan is one of the most recognizable faces on television.
But he came into his media career with Fox off the back of a hugely successful stint in the NFL.
Strahan spent 14 years all with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007.
He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2007 – ending the New England Patriots’ hopes of a perfect season.
Strahan was also a two-time NFL sacks leader and also won Defensive Player of the Year.
The ex-Giants star set the single-season sack record with 22.5 in 2001 – a feat which was matched by J.J. Watt exactly 20 years later.
He is one of the best defensive stars to have ever played the game – finishing with 141.5 career sacks and 854 tackles.
It’s also reported that ESPN host Malika Andrews will guest-host GMA on Saturday and Sunday.
