TODAY’S Savannah Guthrie has shown off her ‘6-7’ Halloween costume – but her co-hosts have no idea what it means.
It came after the host, 53, posted a clip on Instagram of what she would be wearing to celebrate this year’s spooky holiday.

In a video posted yesterday, Savannah Guthrie shared a clip of herself wearing the numbers 6 and 7, as she danced to Skrilla’s Doot Doot (6 7)”.
She wrote next to the clip: “Halloween costume.”
But when discussing what 6-7 means, Today’s Sheinelle Jones and Jenna Bush Hager were left completely stumped.
They were heard asking teacher influencer Mr Phillip Lindsay what it meant, as they had absolutely no idea.

Explaining, he said: “Here’s the thing it started from a song by Skrilla and in it is the number 6, 7, it is referenced.
“That clip then gets put over a bunch of edits and then it just becomes this meme that everybody is repeating any chance to get.
“So kids are like ‘Mr Lindsay ,how tall are you? 6, 7, yeah, what time is it?’ and so on.”

While her co-hosts may have been confused, Savannah got a huge support from fans.
Online, people praised Savannah for her Halloween costume.

Much like what Mr Lindsay was saying, the phrase “six-seven” is a viral internet meme and slang term that rose to prominence in early 2025, popularised and endlessly spouted by Generation Alpha.
As mentioned, it originated from the song Doot Doot (6 7)” by rapper Skrilla, where he repeatedly says “six-seven”.
The meme then gained traction through social media platforms, especially video edits of basketball players including LaMelo Ball, who is 6 feet 7 inches tall.
However, the number sequence itself carries no specific meaning and is largely nonsensical, not unlike “Skibidi”.
Over the last year, it has become an inside joke among kids.
The phrase is often shouted spontaneously in seemingly unrelated contexts – or without any obvious reason at all.
Six-seven is so prevalent that it has even featured in an episode of South Park titled Twisted Christian.
