Jessica Alba is finding the joy in life amid a public divorce.
“Jessica feels renewed in this new chapter,” a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “She is very happy working on new projects and casually dating Danny [Ramirez]. Her and Danny are having a lot of fun, and it’s light.”
In July, Alba — who shares daughters Honor, 17, and Haven, 14, and son Hayes, 7, with estranged husband Cash Warren — sparked romance rumors with Ramirez, 32, after they were photographed departing Cancun, Mexico, following a trip.
The pair seemingly confirmed their romance later that month when they were spotted making out in Los Angeles.
While Alba’s love life may be making headlines, the actress has also been hard at work supporting season 3 of Roku Channel’s Honest Renovations and closing deals with Netflix.
“Between work and the kids, she is very busy right now,” the source shared. (Us has reached out to Alba’s rep for comment.)
At the start of the year, Alba, 44, announced her split from Warren, 46, after 16 years of marriage.
In a social media post, The Honest Company cofounder expressed her desire to always put her family first.
“We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she wrote via Instagram on January 16. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
An insider recently shared with Us that Alba and Warren were on the same page when it came to dating amid their divorce.
“Jessica and Cash had conversations about dating other people while going through their separation, and agreed they were both fine with it,” the insider explained, noting the exes “have both moved on.”
The Fantastic Four actress and Pair of Thieves cofounder have “clear boundaries when it comes to their kids meeting new significant others,” the source added.
“[They] both agreed to keep things separately for now,” the insider shared. “Neither of them wants anything serious, so it’s working right now.”
As Alba continues her romance with Ramirez, Warren appears to be spending more time with UCLA grad Hana Sun Doerr. On Tuesday, August 19, the pair were spotted holding hands while leaving E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Neither party has publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
When asked what he thinks of Alba dating Ramirez, Warren told TMZ he was “happy for her” and believes the actor “seems like a good guy.”
