BREAKING: Caitlin Clark’s Fans Are Officially Done

Caitlin Clark has suffered yet another injury, and her tough sophomore season in the WNBA has fans losing their minds.

For the third time this season, the Indiana Fever guard finds herself in the headlines for yet another injury. A continuous string of bad luck has been one of the most frustrating aspects of Caitlin Clark’s sophomore season with the Indiana Fever.

Clark suffered a bone bruise in her left ankle while doing an individual workout in Phoenix on August 7.

According to The Indianapolis Star, Caitlin Clark, who last suited up for the Fever on July 15, suffered a mild bone bruise in her left ankle. Fortunately for Clark, the injury’s minor nature did not threaten to compound the rehabilitation she had undergone.

Clark’s absence from Sunday’s game against the Connecticut Sun marked the 13th consecutive game she’s missed. Indiana’s next game is Friday night at home against the first-place Minnesota Lynx.

Due to various injuries, Caitlin Clark has only played in 13 games this season.

Her fan base is frustrated.

“I’m done. Going to wait until we get something concrete but as of now my thoughts are she isn’t returning. If she does, it will be a pleasant surprise. I really would love to go to Indy for a playoff game,” Ken Swift wrote.

“Agree, just tell us. Whatever you know, just tell us,” a second person demanded.

“I said it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I had commented to Scott Agnes in frustration of them stringing the fans along that she wasn’t returning and you said, “I’m pretty sure she is returning,” a third person wrote.

“I feel like their definition of “rest of the season” is completely different from ours. For them if she plays the two last games of the season is a win for us it’s super lame and won’t really help anymore,” one final Caitlin Clark fan commented.

Caitlin Clark’s Different Injuries In 2025

Clark missed the Fever’s preseason opener with what she referred to as “a bit of tightness” in her left quad.

This would become a recurring theme. She then suffered a left quad strain on May 24, forcing her out for more than two weeks.

Clark would then play in five games after her return from that quad strain, but then she would suffer a left groin injury during the Fever’s road trip in late June, keeping her out for another five games.

Four games into her latest return, the Fever guard suffered a right groin injury on July 15 while playing the Connecticut Sun in Boston.

That injury would force her to miss the All-Star week festivities, including the three-point shootout as well as the game. She still has not come back to play as the playoffs draw near.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.

At family dinner, my mother-in-law suddenly screamed that her $10,000 was missing. Before I could react, my sister-in-law pointed straight at me. “It was her! I saw her sneaking into Mom’s room!” she shouted. In an instant, my MIL grabbed a baseball bat and ordered me to confess. “I didn’t take—” I tried to explain, but the bat was already swinging—aimed directly at me and my 4-year-old daughter. Instinct kicked in; I wrapped my arms around her as my MIL roared, “Where’s my money?!” At that exact moment, the front door slammed open—my husband had just walked in.

In front of 52 family members, my mom held up her glass, gestured to my sister, and said proudly, “This is the daughter who’s always been there for us. The other one? She’s never done anything.” I stayed silent. No one knew that I was the daughter who’d been paying their mortgage and bills for nearly a decade. So I simply smiled, set my drink down, and walked out of the reunion. The next morning, my phone screen lit up—38 missed calls waiting for me.

The Burtons’ annual family reunion was always loud, chaotic, and soaked in cheap champagne, but…
