Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis claimed that Sean “P. Diddy” Combs placed a bounty on Tupac Shakur’s head.

Keefe D is awaiting trial in relation to the d3ath of Tupac Shakur. Tupac was shot and k!lled in a 1996 drive-by sh00ting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and though Keefe D allegedly didn’t pull the trigger himself, the person who did had allegedly done it because Keefe D commanded it.

 

Before Tupac’s d3ath, the California Love rapper punched a rival gang member. Then, along with Marion “Suge” Knight and other members of the Bloods, the group beat the man until security showed up. The man never told police what happened, but told his uncle, Keefe D.

 

At the time, Keefe D was a leader of a Crips street gang, and allegedly wanted to help his nephew get revenge.

In his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, Keefe wrote, “[Tupac and his crew] didn’t have any business putting their hands on my beloved nephew Baby Lane. Period. Them jumping on my nephew gave us the ultimate green light to do something to their a–.”

But he might have had another motive besides revenge. In a report detailing a DEA report of a secret police interview, obtained by USA TODAY, Keefe D allegedly told cops that Diddy had a $1 million hit out for both Tupac and Knight.

Keefe D allegedly told federal agents in 2008 and 2009 that Diddy “would give anything for those dudes’ heads.” He also pointed the finger at Diddy regarding Tupac’s d3ath in his memoir, but Keefe D backtracked later and claimed the co-author took creative liberties.

Diddy denies any and all wrongdoings he’s accused of, including being involved in Tupac’s d3ath. The Las Vegas Police Department said the disgraced music mogul was never a suspect in Tupac’s murd3r.

Keefe D was charged with the murd3r of Tupac in 2023. Allegations of Diddy putting a hit on Tupac and Knight were mentioned in a filing by Keefe D’s lawyer later that year.

In unrelated civil lawsuits brought against Diddy, they claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder bragged about ordering a hit and possibly paid for the Cadillac from which the sh00ter assassinated Tupac.
