The View star Ana Navarro shared a hot take on Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s budding romance after the pop star recently fought back tears on stage during a performance in Belfast, Ireland.
This past weekend the 40-year-old California Gurls songstress and the 53-year-old ex-Prime Minister of Canada were spotted kissing amid getting cozy with each other on her 24-meter yact, named Caravelle, as it sailed off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. Katy was captured in a black swimsuit while the two were up under each other on the upper deck of the yacht, appearing to unaware of the passersby who were on a whale-watching boat.
Justin got so comfortable that he even rested his hand on Katy’s backside,prompting his ex-wife to break her silence after his steamy getaway with the pop star.
Being that Katy and Justin’s whirlwind romance is gaining more attention, it was the perfect hot topic for The View table, leading it to being discussed on Monday’s episode.
“Listen, if you want to be seen, you go on top of the yacht,” Ana, who is 53, said on the talk show. “That’s a big yacht.”
Ana continued, saying, “There were a lot of places where they could have gone where they wouldn’t be seen. It’s like look at me, I’m making out. I’m happy and my butt looks good!”
The TV personality isn’t the only one who views Katy and Justin’s PDA to be seemingly attention-seeking.
In a forum on Reddit, one shared, “They are trying so hard to hide it – standing there on the top of their yacht…” as a second added, “Another yacht? Why are all of the big sneaky reveals on yachts?”
While Ana had a specific opinion on Katy and Justin’s romance, her co-stars had their own persepctive.
The View co-host Sunny Hostin, 56, exclaimed, “I think it’s great for her, he’s sexy. He’s got that little French accent. I love it for her.”
Fellow co-star Alyssa Farrah Griffin, 36, agreed with Sunny, sharing that she and Justin met in Ottawa in 2019.
“I texted my husband this is the second hottest Justin I’ve ever met,” she said, acknowledging her husband, Justin Griffin. “He’s 6ft2, the bluest eyes and then he started speaking French, He’s very handsome.”
Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg, 69, was more laidback with her response.
“I thought it was a totally different Katy because they said there’s an age difference,” she shared. “I’m so glad this is what it is. I guess the question is do you care [and] what do you think?”
