Brown’s father recently got into a dispute with a youth football coach over a parking spot in Las Vegas, during which he stabbed the coach in the stomach. Recently, TMZ Sports revealed some surprising details about the incident.

“We revealed it allegedly stemmed from a dispute over a parking space. The girlfriend of the alleged victim — youth football coach Cross Tupuola — in the incident claimed the Marselles dinged their car door, and Marselles then began arguing with Tupuola. The pair apparently agreed to have a fight to settle things between them, and when the victim turned his back to Marselles, the boxer allegedly stabbed him multiple times. Although Tupuola tried to fight back at first, he eventually attempted to run away, and he was allegedly chased by Brown,” via TMZ Sports.

TMZ Sports revealed that Tupuola and his girlfriend managed to escape from the spot and called the cops for help. Later, the coach reached the hospital in critical condition.

Brown’s father also suffered several injuries, such as a broken toe, scraped knees, and scratches on his right cheek. Recently, TMZ Sports reported that Brown’s lawyer, Arnold Weinstock, stated that Brown’s father acted in self-defence during the incident.

“Weinstock said Tupuola first pistol-whipped Brown, and stated he didn’t believe the boxer ‘initiated anything.’ We obtained police documents related to the stabbing … and there’s no note of a gun,” Via TMZ Sports.
