HEARTBREAK ON DWTS: Jen Affleck Left STUNNED After SHOCKING News — Fans Flood Social Media Saying ‘Please Let Her Be OK’
According to her husband, Zac Affleck, Jennifer Affleck has been forced to step back from her Dancing with the Stars commitments.
On Sunday evening, the 29-year-old, who is not in fact related to Hollywood legend Ben Affleck, took to TikTok to plead with fans. “Alright, guys, I need your help!! Don’t tag Jen, please!”
He went on to explain how Jen, 26, is planning on dedicating this week’s DWTS routine to her mom and her three children. However, he revealed, “This week she has been so sick she hasn’t been able to practice and has been stuck in bed most of the week.” It comes after Jen admitted to feeling “scared and vulnerable” to take part in the long-running ABC series.
Zac continued, “She would never ask, but she really needs all the help and prayers she can get.” He didn’t disclose what was actually wrong with his wife, but urged his followers to reach out to him if they had been touched by Jen’s story.
A DWTS fam shared a handful of screengrabs of Zac’s post to Reddit, along with the title, “Apparently Jen has been sick all week and unable to rehearse.”
“We know Jen practiced at least once this week because she was at the studio with Jan and her mom. Her husband Zac asked for people to send prayers and messages of support so he can print them out and decorate her trailer for Tuesday. I don’t like him but that’s really sweet and I hope she’s still able to perform,” they added below the screenshots.
Other fans were quick to weigh in on the update, with one user pointing out, “Must be something going around on the set, Andy missed a rehearsal day as well,” refering to Andy Richter.
“Andy is sick too.. hope they’re all okay! :(,” another user echoed.
While a third user said, “I hope she’s okay and it’s not her body shutting down on her. I still think that it wasn’t a great idea for her to do this season so freshly postpartum and that she had a terrible pregnancy both mentally and physically, especially mentally.”
Someone else asked, “Oh no! What will happen if she can’t perform? Has this ever happened before?”
To which another fan replied, “If it’s a serious/ongoing issue like Tamar Braxton or Jeannie Mai, they usually drop out; if it’s just a short term illness producers may allow them to submit a rehearsal video in lieu of performing live. If she can’t perform or submit a video but will be fine next week, they may do a non elimination week and then double next week.”
This week’s show is Dedication Night, which will see the nine remaining couples take to the ballroom floor to honour influential figures/institutions in their lives through heartfelt performances; special guest judge Mark Ballas.
