Savannah Guthrie Joins the Bob Club! Check Out Her Shorter Hairstyle

TODAY viewers may have noticed Savannah Guthrie is looking a bit different. That’s because the TODAY co-anchor got a bob haircut.
“of course I did ✂️” she captioned an Instagram video of herself smiling and laughing along with hairstylist Chris McMillan, which she posted on Sept. 12.
“I did a thing w/mrchrismcmillan,” she wrote on the clip.
Fans loved the new look.
“So good!” one person wrote.
“Beautiful 😘❤️” another person raved.
It was all part of a busy day for McMillan, who appeared on TODAY earlier in the week to give two viewers bobs of their own.
“4 haircuts before 9am and the MOST FUN morning with @jennaandfriends and everyone at the @todayshow✂️ thank you so much for having me and can’t wait to share more!” he captioned an Instagram post on Sept. 11 that featured a few photos and videos of him with Savannah and Jenna Bush Hager.
The bob is having a major TODAY moment. In addition to yesterday’s work, McMillan, who famously created “The Rachel,”which was Jennifer Aniston’s iconic hairstyle on “Friends,” also gave a bob haircut to Jenna in June, live on air.
“Bobs are like spring cleaning,” he said as they got ready to do the cut. “There’s sometimes some bad damage, bad layers. It sort of evens it up.”
After her grand reveal on the show, Jenna shared in July whether she plans to keep the bob around.
“Am I keeping the bob? As of now, there’s no way not to keep the bob because it won’t grow that fast. But I do like it. I like it a lot more than I thought I would,” Jenna told TODAY.com at the time.
And the proof is on TODAY, as Jenna is still seen rocking the shorter locks.
