PAIGE SPIRANAC has revealed golf is the reason she is in therapy – but that the sport is also her therapy.

The glam influencer has opened up on her “love-hate relationship” with the game.

The 32-year-old, who has a huge four million Instagram followers, took part in a Q&A on her story as she interacted with fans.

She said: ‘I’ve always said that golf is the reason I’m in therapy, and it’s also my therapy.

“It can be so infuriating at times where you just want to quit and never want to look at your golf clubs ever again.

“But then when I am stressed, or frustrated, or going through something, there is nothing more relaxing than just going to the range, putting my music on and just beating balls for hours.”

A fan then put it to Paige that every single round on a golf course is full of its own challenges, and the American was in full agreement.

She added: “This is why golf is so addicting and also why I have such a love-hate relationship with the game.

“Because you can be standing on the first tee, do everything correctly… and you could just have the best round of your life or the worst.

“You never know what you’re going to get. It’s full of surprises but it always keeps you coming back for more.”

Last month we told you how the glamorous golf star, who is one of the most popular sport influencers in the world, had stepped back from social media.

She’s been much quieter on her platforms in recent months and she opened up on her struggles when asked about her inactivity and said anxiety had “taken control” of her life.

However, In the past week, she has announced her new media company “Paige Co” in partnership with Pro Shop and told her fans there is “so much content coming.”

She wrote on her Instagram: “For the past 10 years it has really just been me and my cell phone capturing content to share with you all, it’s been a wild ride and I’ve learned that having a supportive team around makes all the difference.

“I’m excited to announce Paige Co which is my new media company in partnership with Pro Shop.

“I’ll be sharing more soon and I can’t wait for you to see the new series we are working on. So much content coming.”

She followed up that with another post giving fans a glimpse into her time on the West Coast with some glam selfies both on and off the course.
