Lauren Jauregui had just one word to say when she was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars, and now, the Fifth Harmony singer’s “attitude” about the show is being questioned.

Jauregui and her partner, Brandon Armstrong were sent home in a shock elimination after the ABC show’s TiKTok night, where they danced to her band’s hit song, Work from Home.

And while body language experts have since weighed in on their reactions to the ouster, including how Jauregui was “frozen” with shock, others are laser-focused on Jauregui’s actions on the moment they came down to the stage and spoke to hosts ALfonso Ribiero and Julianne Hough.

After she was asked how she felt about the situation, Jareugui just said she was “pissed,” which earned laughs from Armstrong and others in the audience.

However, some have since criticized her for having an “attitude.”

Armstrong was the first to address the comments, after being asked about it on a TikTok Live, which resurfaced on Reddit.

“Y’all think you got voted off because of Lauren’s attitude?” he read during the chat.

“That’s my question, WHAT attitude?” he replied. “Being confident, you know? I just, I don’t, I don’t buy that. I understand that it could be like your opinion, but I don’t buy it.”

“I think that she can be…confident in herself, and she can be a confident, beautiful, grown woman, that is opinionated, and that doesn’t make you cocky, or you have an attitude. It means that you stand up for yourself and that you value yourself and I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with that.”

He also went on to admit that he hopes his own future children would be like her in the regard.

His defense comes as some from the show paint her response to her ouster as a new iconic moment to overshadow the one given by Anna Delvey after her elimination in Season 33.

The convicted felon said she would take “nothing” from the show after her ouster, and the moment went viral.

Now, judge Derek Hough has hinted that “pissed” could be the newest one.

Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a clip of his gig hosting on Extra, where he broke down the recent episode in 45 seconds.

“Lauren with a raw and appropriate response to her result,” he says in the clip, which features her saying “pissed” to Julianne.

“Wow, that’s definitely going to be a viral meme,” he commented. “That’s the new…” before a clip of the moment with Delvey aired.

He wasn’t the only one who seemingly had that take though, as Julianne also posted the moment on her TikTok account, writing in the caption, “She’s pissed. We’re shocked.”
