Sharing a statement on Instagram, Kelly Kruger and Darin Brooks, who share two kids together, penned: “This is obviously not fun news to share but we have shared so many wonderful years together, and we’re truly grateful for the support, love, and joy you all have shown us along the way.

“While we’ve made the difficult decision to part ways as a couple, we remain deeply respectful of each other and united in our commitment to our beautiful family.

“Our focus is on raising our girls with love, laughter, and stability, and we look forward to this next chapter as friends and co-parents.

“Thank you for being such a meaningful part of our journey — your kindness and support means the world to us.”

Fans reacted to the news swiftly, with many heartbroken over the news.

One person penned, “Love you both! Sorry to hear this. I know you all will be wonderful Coparents.”

“This breaks my heart to hear this. Love you guys together. Hope you can fix things but if not remain close for the girls,” said a second.

“I noticed that you were not sharing anymore things in Line together! Im sorry,” penned a third.

While a fourth said, “What a sad announcement. But, it sounds like you are parting ways with a deep commitment to your children, and respect for each other. Best wishes!”

And a fifth added, “Very sad to hear.. wishing you all the best.”

The duo met in 2010 while working on Blue Mountain State.

Darin was starring on the show at the time as Alex Moran, while Kelly appeared in a guest role as Julia King.

Their connection evolved into something more.

In 2016, Darin told Soaps.com: “We became best friends, and for a good three to six months she was telling me who to date.

“We were spending so much time together, and one day I just grabbed her head, and I kissed her.”

They then got engaged at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris in June 2014 while they filmed Bold and Beautiful on location.

Darin and Kelly then tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2016.

In 2019, Kelly told Soap Opera Digest: “The first year of marriage is no joke.

“It really is the hardest…. I was always so anti-marriage for so long.

“And then I married him, and I was like, ‘Marriage is amazing.’ But it’s hard, it’s work.”

Darin then added: “Yeah, you both have to work. It’s not like anybody has to work more than the other. Both people have to work.”
