Their marriage wasn’t always perfect. In her 2024 book, I Want to Matter: Your Life Is Too Short and Too Precious to Waste, Kathie Lee Gifford detailed her husband’s infidelity during their marriage.

The talk show host has always been vocal about her faith. She recently appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Kathie Lee Gifford opened up about a time when she begged to die. She thought God was through with her and begged to be called home to Jesus.

She said that the last two years of her life had been too painful. Kathie Lee Gifford didn’t elaborate on what happened, but she suffered a broken pelvis in last year after a fall at home.

What Saved Her

Kathie Lee Gifford thought God was done with his plans for her and wanted to die. But she is still alive and as outspoken as ever. What saved her?

The talk show host admitted to being lonely since her husband’s death. There was speculation last year that she might join The Golden Bachelor franchise to look for love again. But she shut that idea down.
